- My Bio - either for artist or art lover
- I am a selftaught artist and live in a suburb of Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. Retired from medicine a couple of years ago and spending more time on a long neglected hobby, drawing and painting. My favorite medium is watercolor but am experimenting with acrylics and pastel. I also draw with graphite and charcoal.

For the safety of your copyright and also for site bandwidth, it is best to keep your images below 300KB [preferably 150KB] This way if anyone comes to the site and wants to right click and copy your picture [illegally but it happens in the internet] posting a smaller KB pic prevents them from getting a good printable copy.This way if they want one, they will need to contact you to buy one.
If you wish to sell prints here or someone tries to order on, unlike other print sites, I personally contact you & will request by email a printable jpeg that I would use in a temp folder to complete the order of which then you would get a 30% commission.
Alternately IF you do your own printing, you can provide your paypal email addy so people can order directly from you. Just include the price and the email addy in your Description of the photo upload. :) Ave

I am so glad you chose to join us here at ArtRave. The site is evolving and working towards creating a venue for you as an artist to be able to present and sell your art to those looking for art worldwide. Unlike other sites we are here for you as the artist first and foremost as I created this site as an artist and share what I do online that has enabled me to sell my art as well.
There are a list of recommended sites that we cross promote with and groups where you can list your other websites so viewers can choose to view those as well.
Visit the Forum and check out more about the site & services I can provide you with. I do custom printing for members if you wish to sell prints both wholesale and also on a royalty basis.But we can go into that further later once you get settled in :)
