- I am Ave Hurley, the OWNER & CREATOR of ArtRave networks & websites ~ I maintain them as Family Friendly sites suitable for all viewing audiences.
Before opening this site to membership, I used it to store photos on, lol. Now that it has 'evolved', I have allow other artist to show and sell their work on my site commission free. I have 3 working accounts. This is the owner/administrator account.I didnt think it mattered much but as time passed I realized I needed a "Tech Acct" to be able to move slideshows around that were multi-member shows, so I opened the Tech account for that purpose. Being busy, I am on this account still, by default and check emails here. For my own artworks, I started a 3rd account, so that I could upload my work over again in order and numbered correctly as this acct had all the pictures in before this became a membership site. I have titled and tagged most of them but not all, so I plan on removing pictures from this account once I finish uploading them in order on my personal account.Sometimes I feel besides myself~! LOL
I was born in Brooklyn, NY by Shore Road in Bay Ridge. I loved looking out over the harbor and watching the ships come in and out of port, as well as watching the construction of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge to Staten Island. ...continued.

I love to paint the sea and country landscapes. I also like to do pen & ink illustrations of farms, towns, homes and lighthouses.I knew as I grew up in NYC that one day I would live in the country.
I am one of 14 talented siblings and was born in Brooklyn NY , grew up on Staten Island and left NYC back in 1985 and have lived in the countryside of Upstate NY and then North Central Pennsylvana from
1988-2010.
I have 5 children and 13 grandchildren ~!
I like to occasionally drive & travel cross country taking my time and soaking in the sites along the way. Sometimes I like trying to put them down on canvas or paper.Other times in photos~
In 2008 I took a plane ride to Phoenix Az., to be with my daughters as my youngest one gave birth to her first child,.
Quite a trip but I came home again, back to drawing & painting and getting online~ to start developing this site which I began in 2009 for personal use, but then developed it to allow other artists
to join in with me to show promote & sell our art together online.
