Wonderful scenes Murphy, I have never used oil paints but can see you get such rich colours using them and they seem to give more depth to the space scenes.  Despite the time gap between them, the only difference I can see is that the recent painting has a 3D effect adding more depth to the scene.    ...have a great day...jacquei...(LadyE)

King%20of%20Glory%2C%20email.JPG    This is a digital drawing of Jesus and His horsemen, entering the new Jerusalem, The Emerald City.  But I think we go mixed up with The Wizard of Oz story of the Emerald City, because the Biblical prophecy of the New Jerusalem has emeralds in the gates. The face of Jesus has a halo or aura around it, so bright that you can't see His face.  this is an awesome technique that Garry used that I have never seen before. (Garry Mayer, #306 on Artrave.com)

Thanks Ave, I did think of deleting it as it looks so childish against the paintings of Murphy and Bob Bello, I think I will have a go doing one in graphite and colouring it, I love the subject of space, I can go wild with my fantasies...:)   j xx
