BusinessChoose Business~ the free account~! It will later enable you to
make your one paypal buttons to place checkouts on your art
anywhere you go online~ This FREE account has small per transaction
fees and is best for artists since we sometimes get busy, but often
have gaps in time without sales. Now they have that Premier Account
but that has a monthly charge, so you wouldnt need that til you
make several sales a day. Besides you can always upgrade. I use the
Business and it works perfect for everything I do online~!

3 A][above]Fill in the required information in part 1
3 B[below]]Fill in the info~ When it asks for a Business name, if
you dont have one yet, just use you real name and add on Gallery or
Artworks or Illustrations anything that depicts what you do and the
kind of business you will someday have online~ If you dont have a
website or homepage, you can use your MyPage URL.It is only to get
started and once you do you can later create Paypal buttons to add
to your MyPage so customers can pay you directly on your own
page~!!!

4] Complete the Registration and then when prompted, give your bank
info~
They give you options to either use a credit card or your bank
account.
IT IS BEST to use your credit card to verify who you are. They dont
actually take anything out, but they are a financial institution
and can verify you in a couple of minutes and you will be able to
activate your account faster~
You can choose a bank account but that will take 3-5 days to verify
as they will deposit 2 coin amounts into your account and then you
have to see those deposits and go back to the site to enter the
amounts..
It is much easier to use your bank credit/debit card.
Answer the one email they will send you that is to verify your
email address. They will always address you by name and not by
anything vague such as dear member~ since scammers try all sorts of
addresses to hit up Paypal customers and so Paypal warns you to
never accept any junkmail from anyone pretending to be paypal that
doesn't know your name..
5] Once you have your account. Browse it and familiarize yourself
with it. Apply for the free paypal debit card. Its a Master Card
and will arrive in about 10 days. They will always first use
whatever balance you may have in your account before using your
bank for 'backup' funding.
[I.E].~ You buy something online for $-100
You sold something online for $+ 60
Your Balance is $ - 40
Paypal will then take the back up funding you assigned it from your
selected bank , so your bank will be debited the $40 leaving your
Paypal balance back at $0 I use my Paypal debit card for everything
now.
It is better than my bank debit. It has a 1% rewards program too.
It also creates a buffer for me when I make purchases and they are
there for me whenever I have a problem with instant statements
within minutes of your transactions, whereas many banks make you
wait a day or more.
Their Customer Service is fast too. You can email, chat or phone
them 24/7
.-------------------------------------------------------
Paypal is one of the most secure ways to send or receive money
online.
It is safe, secure, fast and gives you a flexibility in your
financial dealings with most websites and with handling private
sales and subscriptions.
I used to only take checks or money orders, til I received
counterfeit US Postal Money Orders that the Post Office themselves
almost cashed, til their Manager took a look~ They were made
exactly like real ones but a fraction of an inch larger~! They were
delivered by Fedex, so I really thought the people were
legitimate~
I was told that had I deposited them into my bank, I would have
been held completely responsible for them, so I was glad I had
brought them to the Post Office to cash. The Postal Manager said
our country in particular has been inundated with forged money
orders and checks~ Fortunately I hadnt sen the work out and the
customer vanished when I reported them to the FBI~
My son once received a check from the Mutual of Omaha Bank and was
supposed to do a 'secret shopper' job at Walmart, being directed to
cash the check , spend a portion on electronics, and then wire
transfer the balance back. to 'their main office.. it was a scam,
that we checked out beore cashing and found it was counterfeit.
Paypal is safe. They warn you to always check your browser windo to
see their https and name on oit without any other words. Scammers
set up websites that have other words in theiir pages that are
always fake.Scammeres randomly junkmail people with fake paypal
pages asking to confirm info, but Paypal NEVER sends such pages, so
as long as you ignore unsolicited inquiries PayPal remains
safe.
They have tutorials to help teach people how to spot a scam too and
they are fast to cover you when you have been taken advantage of by
any online purchase and often can reverse the money to help you
recover losses.
I have never had a problem with Paypal itself and when I had a
problem with an online purchase once where the website triple
charged me for an item, Paypal removed the charges for me.
